COVID-19 treatments

Welia Health offers several medical therapies for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. The use of these medications is prioritized based on those who are most at risk of severe COVID-19 complications. These medications may not be appropriate for all individuals and are being issued under the Emergency Use Authorization.
If you test positive for COVID-19 and are interested in any of these treatments, please call the clinic at 320.679.1313 and select option 2.
Antiviral medications
Paxlovid

| Authorized use(s) | Treatment of mild to moderate symptoms in high-risk patients with COVID-19 symptoms. |
| Age eligibility | Ages 12 years and older |
| Weight eligibility | 88 pounds or more |
| Other criteria for treatment | Test positive for SARS-CoV-2 Be within five days of the start of symptoms Not pregnant or breastfeeding* The patient must not be hospitalized |
