There’s no denying the many benefits of reading – from strengthening the brain, building vocabulary, and preventing cognitive decline, to reducing stress and increasing empathy for others – it’s clear that reading enhances our lives!
Listen to Liz Eklund, MS, CCC-SLP, a speech-language pathologist who will share our love of reading at Ogilvie elementary school. This year’s book is from the Magic Tree House series, Balto of the Blue Dawn, by Mary Pope Osborne.
