Volunteer Scholarships
In addition to contributing thousands of hours of their time each year, Welia Health volunteers go above and beyond to raise funds for countless programs, including scholarships for area students.

Vasaloppet
Vasaloppet is a cross-country skiing event held in and around Mora each year. The event is inspired by the original Vasaloppet ski race in Mora, Sweden, Mora’s sister city. The race takes place on the first Saturday of each February.

Mora Elementary Glow Run
The Mora Elementary Fun Run raises funds for new playground equipment, lyceums, field trips and student awards, including Student of the Month, Caught Ya Winners, and Mustang Pride Winners.

Safe Sitter
These fun-filled classes use games and role-playing exercises to teach kids life skills, safety skills, and childcare training to build safer communities.

Student-athlete physicals
As part of the Minnesota State High School League, student-athletes must complete a physical to participate in sports. Each August, Welia Health offers free physicals to fulfill this requirement.
MSHSL ELIGIBILITY FORMMEDICAL CARE
Concussion clinics
For student-athletes playing high school sports, a baseline of an athlete’s brain health helps doctors more accurately assess any potential future injury. Welia Health offers these 10-minute assessments at no charge.
