This year marks the 8th year Welia Health is celebrating February’s Love To Read Month, incorporating the theme:
There’s no denying the many benefits of reading – from strengthening the brain, building vocabulary, and preventing cognitive decline, to reducing stress and increasing empathy for others – it’s clear that reading enhances our lives!
Amy Miller, MS, CCC-SLP, a speech-language pathologist will share our love of reading at Pine City elementary school. This year’s book is from the Magic Tree House series, Balto of the Blue Dawn, by Mary Pope Osborne.
