Dr. R. Gaalswyk, Family Medicine physician at Welia Health

Dr. Ryan Gaalswyk, a family medicine physician from our Mora Clinic, has announced he will be leaving his clinical practice at Welia Health as of Monday, December 27, 2021.

Dr. Gaalswyk and his family will relocate to Seattle where he completed his medical training. His wife Christina is from the Pacific Northwest so the move will allow them to spend more time with extended family.

“I’ve loved my time in Mora and have enjoyed every bit of East Central Minnesota’s natural beauty, hunting, fishing and competing in the annual Vasaloppet ski race,” Dr. Gaalswyk remarked.

As Dr. Gaalswyk transitions to the West Coast, he may occasionally return to support inpatient hospital and emergency department staff at Welia Health. In the meantime, his patients will be notified of his departure and offered recommendations for their ongoing medical care.
