Brian Niskanen, MD, CMO, a Family Medicine physician and Chief Medical Officer at Welia Health, has announced he will temporarily step back from seeing patients in the clinic as of June 14, 2021.

“This decision has been exceptionally difficult to make as I enjoy being part of your lives and consider myself a part of your care team”, comments Dr. Niskanen.

Niskanen will continue to serve as Welia Health’s Chief Medical Officer ensuring Welia Health continues its promise of delivering high-quality care in every area of the organization.

Dr. Niskanen recognizes that this change may come as an inconvenience to some and sincerely apologizes.

Welia Health will be sending a letter to Dr. Niskanen’s patients in the upcoming week notifying them of this decision with recommended primary care providers for ongoing care.
