For several weeks, as our communities have been diligent to #StayHomeMN, you have provided Welia Health the time necessary prepare for COVID-19. We recognize that during this time, you may have placed you and your family’s healthcare needs on hold.
Beginning this week, Welia Health has begun to reintroduce select care services. We encourage you seek the medical care you and your loved ones need. And we want to reassure you we have taken every precaution to ensure our facilities are safe for patients, visitors and staff. We have implemented new triage protocols, intensified cleaning procedures, strictly limited visitors, and equip both staff and patients with proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
How do I schedule an appointment?
We have new procedures in place to ensure you get care that best meets your needs. To schedule an appointment, please follow these steps.
1. Call first.
For all non-emergency medical needs, call Welia Health at 320.679.1313.
For medical emergencies, call 911.
2. Learn about visit options.
Our staff will ask you a few questions and recommend the most appropriate setting of care based on your medical need and symptoms. This could include an in-person clinic visit, a virtual care visit by video or phone, or even an in-home visit. Learning about your needs will help us schedule the best care option for you.
- In-person clinic visits at Welia Health in Mora and Pine City
As soon as you arrive, you will be screened and asked to wear a mask.
- Virtual care visits
If you are scheduled for a virtual care visit, a nurse will call and walk you through how to set up your laptop or mobile device before your visit.
- In-home visits
Three of our providers are offering in-home visits. Some adults who have an increased susceptibility to COVID-19 may be eligible for in-home visits.
3. Stay informed.
As we have all learned, changes can be expected as we continue to learn more about COVID-19. Please visit WeliaHealth.org/coronavirus or follow us on social media to stay up to date with any changes.
