The first baby of 2023 arrived at Welia Health on Tuesday, January 3. Nash Riley was born to Laura Schultz and Joran (Chip) Helmbrecht of Mora, Minnesota.
Nash weighed 7 pounds, 3 ½ ounces and was 20 ½ inches long. Grandparents are Mike and Naomi Schultz and Duane Helmbrecht, all of Quamba, and Ami Helmbrecht of Mora. Welia Health presented Nash’s parents with a $50 savings account to celebrate his birth.
In 2022, 197 babies were born at Welia Health, 102 boys and 95 girls. The top baby names for girls born at Welia Health were:
